Necessary only
A theme preference, so the site remembers light or dark, and — if you sign in to the admin — a session cookie. Both are strictly necessary to deliver what you asked for.
No tracking
No advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking, no analytics of third parties. When privacy-friendly analytics lands, it will run behind a consent banner and it will be described here before it does.
Managing them
You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site keeps working, it just forgets the theme.
